Google’s latest device has taken the U.S. market by storm
All Nexus 7 tablets were sold out in the United States in a matter of three days.
According to Reuters news agency, the first series of Google’s latest Nexus 7 tablets were sold out this past weekend. The tablets went on sale in the United States on Friday, July 13, but technology stores had started accepting orders several days before that. According to the British news agency, the tablets had been sold out on the first day at many stores.
The famous Google Company has promised that the new series of tablets will be in stores in early August. In addition, Americans will have the chance to order the Nexus 7 via Google as well. However, there is no information regarding the number of sales on the weekend.
Let us recall that Google had introduced the Nexus 7 in late June. The state-of-the-art device has a 7-inch screen, an Android 4.1 and is currently considered the first device in that platform.
Nexus 7, which is produced by Google and the Thai ASUS Company, sparked buyers’ interest with its rather low price. The 8 GB device costs 199 dollars, and the 16 GB device costs 249 dollars.
It is expected that the device will also be on sale in Australia, Great Britain and Canada in August. The list of countries will go on, and Armenia just might be on that list.
